DESCRIPTION:Pastor Dwight will be having a PMA exhibitor table and teaching a workshop\nat this 2026 SUMMIT May 14-16\, 2026\nWheaton College\, Billy Graham Center\n501 College Ave\nWheaton\, IL 60187 \nhttps://wheatonbillygraham.com/event/cmca-2026-correctional-ministries-summit/ \nCMCA is committed to hosting an annual Correctional Ministry Summit that offers training\, inspiration\, and networking opportunities to those working with the incarcerated\, formerly incarcerated\, their families\, victims\, and correctional staff.  The purpose of each Summit is: \n\nTo equip correctional ministry leaders\, chaplains\, corrections administrators\, program managers\, and community agency administrators to more effectively serve the incarcerated\, formerly incarcerated\, victims\, and their families through specialized workshops\, networking\, and resources.\nTo facilitate collaboration among organizations that serve those impacted by the criminal justice system.\nTo encourage churches\, faith-based\, and community organizations to more effectively serve the incarcerated\, and formerly incarcerated\, victims and their families.\nTo provide a venue for visioning\, training\, and leadership development for formerly incarcerated persons and victims.\n\nThe objectives of the Summit are as follows: \n\nTo provide instruction through specialized workshops\nTo provide inspiration through engaging plenary sessions\nTo facilitate the establishment of a network of resources\n\nCMCA welcomes you to join us at this year’s Correctional Ministry Summit.  CMCA remains constant in its vision and purpose of the Summit and we pray that each year offers a new and fresh perspective for our attendees and builds them up in the work they are doing to fulfill the work of the Lord. \nPastor Dwight teaching workshop\, “12 Principles for Successful Relationships”\, Workshop Session 2: Friday\, May 15 3:30-5:00 PM \nDESCRIPTION:  Healthy relationships help work through conflict\, division and demonstrate the power of God’s love. We need the power of God’s love demonstrated to those around us and in prison. This workshop will equip you to do this with the 12 Seeds for Successful Relationships   \nWe need to address the world’s problems! Instead of division\, protests etc. We need the power of God’s love demonstrated to those around us and in prison. 12 Seeds for Successful relationships (2025) is a book that will equip us to do this.  Each person will get a copy of the “12 Seeds for Successful relationships” published by PMA. This can be taught to inmates and correction officers. \nTwo outcomes \nMost ministries focus on inmates only\, we have developed this workshop that can be used to help correctional officers as well as inmates. \nYou’ll discover how to demonstrate love in these 12 areas: Respect\, Encouragement\, Listening\, Appreciation\, Trust\, Integrity\, Order\, Nurture\, Synergy\, Hope\, Ideals and Pardon. \nUnderstand how the 12 human needs that each of the 12 Seeds help fill: Significance\, Courage to press on\, Attention\, To be valued\, Security\, Authenticity\, Structure\, To be loved\, To work together\, Motivation to go on\, To focus on higher things and Forgiveness.
