DESCRIPTION:Please pray for Pastor Dwight and PMA team who will setup a Prison Mission Association display\, Wed. Oct.28  at Stillwater Prison and talk to several hundred  inmates who will be coming in groups every 30 minutes to talk to us about our correspondence courses. Pray for many to enroll and that we can help them transition by grounding them in God’s Word and principles as they are released within 15 months. We will be there from 8 am to 3.30 pm.  In previous fairs we have had between 69- 104  inmates enroll for our Bible Correspondence courses at each prison! We are praying for a similar response here!

DESCRIPTION:Please pray for Shannon Hupp\, our newest PMA representative sharing at Berean Church\, Muskegon\, MI for their missions conference Sunday\, Oct.18. She is a senior at Grace Bible College and volunteering as an intern with Prison Mission Association doing research and program development for us. Her research of our most recent 260 graduates who have completed all 35 of our lessons only have a recidivism rate of 10.2% compared to the national average of 67%. So if inmates don’t take our PMA lessons almost 7 out of 10 will repeat offend! If they complete all of our PMA lessons\, only 1 in 10 will repeat offend and go back to prison as they have come to faith in Christ through studying Gods word. Your prayers and support for this ministry make an eternal difference to the lives of many!

SUMMARY:Visiting Indianapolis Reentry Education Facility with Coalition of Prison Evangelists!
DESCRIPTION:Pastor Dwight is excited to be able to visit with a team of Coalition of Prison Evangelists (COPE)\, this facility while visiting Indianapolis\, Sept.12.  The Indianapolis Reentry Educational facility uses best correctional practices to protect the public while providing residents the skills for successful reintegration into the community with the goal of reducing recidivism. \n  \nWe also will be visiting The Jesus House\, http://www.jipm.org/JIPM/Jesus_House.html  Jesus House\, an aftercare ministry of Jesus Inside Prison Ministry and the Indianapolis Pastor’s Gathering\, is truly a place of restoration and preparation for ex-offenders who have turned to Christ and are being released from incarceration. Some 80% of all men who enter prison are released within four years; most having served time for nonviolent offenses. One of the great failures of our correctional system is the inability of the system to truly reform men so that they do not return to the same social condition and behaviors which led to crime in the first place. \nJesus Inside Prison Ministry (JIPM)\, founded by Pastor William Bumphus\, is dedicated both in turning people from crime to Christ and providing effective aftercare. For more than 19 years\, Pastor Bumphus has travelled to prisons in and outside Indiana preaching the Word to tens of thousands of offenders. Over the years\, a great number of men have been born again\, released from prison\, and are living productive lives.

We will be partnering with Norm Andersen\, who will be sharing on the “12 Seeds for Successful Relationships” and Pastor Dwight will be offering our Bible Correspondence courses in both English and Spanish. We will be having a 90 minute workshop in the morning and possibly one after lunch if there is enough signed up. So pray for a great response and many will want to study God’s Word. DESCRIPTION:Pastor Dwight\, Don\, Rindy\, Julia\, and Lynna from Bethesda Church will be leading an outreach service\, Sunday\, Aug.30\, 9 am to 10 am. We expect about 20 inmates. Please pray for the Holy Spirit’s leading and working in each person’s heart. We will be sharing a Prison Mission lesson with them on “Dealing with the demons of the past” Philippians 3:13-14 and encourage them to enroll in our Life Changing Bible Correspondence courses.  Click here to download Dealing with the Demons of the Past lesson. \nThe Oak Park Heights Minnesota Correctional Facility in Stillwater holds the most violent offenders in the Minnesota Department of Corrections. With only the 432 beds it is small by comparison to other prisons in America but just as dangerous.

DESCRIPTION:Please pray for Pastor Dwight and PMA team who will setup a Prison Mission Association display\, Tues\, July 28  at Lino Lakes Prison and talk to several hundred  inmates who will be coming in groups every 30 minutes to talk to us about our correspondence courses. Pray for many to enroll and that we can help them transition by grounding them in God’s Word and principles as they are released within 15 months. We will be there from 8 am to 3.30 pm. Last month\, at Faribault Prison\, we had 87 inmates enroll for our Bible Correspondence courses. We are praying for a similar response here! \nPray for our Urgent need for New or used paperback Bibles to give out in the prisons for each of these transitional fairs. If you have any new or used paperback full Bibles\, please call Pastor Dwight- 612-423-3457. If possible some large print would be really helpful as well. \n
