SUMMARY:PMA Outreach to Waseca and Rochester Federal prisons on May 17\, 2016
DESCRIPTION:Please pray for Pastor Dwight and PMA team who will setup a Prison Mission Association display for Resource Fairs at both Waseca and Rochester Federal prisons on May 17\, 2016.  Pray for may open hearts to sign up to study God’s Word and be transformed as we will be able to talk to several hundred  inmates who will be coming in groups every 30 minutes to talk to us about our correspondence courses. Pray for many to enroll and that we can help them transition by grounding them in God’s Word and principles as they are released within 15 months. We will be there from 8 am to 3.30 pm.  In previous fairs we have had between 69- 153  inmates enroll for our Bible Correspondence courses at each prison! We are praying for a similar response here! If you have any good used softcover Bibles we can always use more as we will be visiting 5 different prisons this month!! We provide Bibles to those who do not have one and want to study God’s Word! \nWe will be at Rochester prison in the morning 8.30am-11am and Waseca in the afternoon\, 12:15-3:30pm. \n

There are roughly nine million people incarcerated throughout the world and their needs are many—spiritual\, physical\, emotional\, mental\, occupational\, social\, relational. Meeting the needs of everyone affected by crime seems like an impossible task. How can we make the greatest long-term difference while covering a wide scope of issues? The Apostle Paul gives us guidance: \nTherefore I\, a prisoner for serving the Lord\, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling\, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other\, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit\, binding yourselves together with peace. SUMMARY:Outreach to SuperMax Prison at Oak Park Heights\, MN\, May 29.
DESCRIPTION:Pastor Dwight and team from Bethesda Church will be leading an outreach service\, Sunday\, May 29\, 8.45am to 10 am. We expect about 20 inmates. Please pray for Holy Spirit’s leading and working in each person’s heart. We will be sharing Prison Mission Trifold lesson called “We are One” with them and encourage them to enroll in our Life Changing Bible Correspondence courses. We will have communion as well for the first time with them.  You can click here to download it  We Are One-PMA trifold \nThe Oak Park Heights Minnesota Correctional Facility in Stillwater holds the most violent offenders in the Minnesota Department of Corrections. With only the 432 beds it is small by comparison to other prisons in America but just as dangerous.
