DESCRIPTION:Please pray for Pastor Dwight  and team\, who will setup a Prison Mission Association display\, Wed. May 2  at St Cloud Prison and talk to several hundred  inmates who will be coming in groups every 30 minutes to talk to us about our correspondence courses.   Pray for many to enroll and that we can help them transition by grounding them in God’s Word and principles as they are released within 15 months. We will be there from 6.45 am to 2 pm.

SUMMARY:Pastor Dwight to speak at Memorial Service for Julian Nelson\, dear friend of PMA\, Sat. May 5\, 11 am Hillside Community Church\, Enumclaw\, WA
DESCRIPTION:Our dear friend and long time supporter of PMA\, Pastor Julian Nelson\, went to be with our Lord. He requested that Pastor Dwight give the message at his memorial this Sat. at 11 am\, at the Hillside Community Church\, 24015 SE 436th Way\, Enumclaw\, Washington. \nJulian M. Nelson of Enumclaw\, Washington passed away at home on March 21\, 2018. He was born April 28\, 1919 to John and Marie (Larson) Nelson on the family farm in West Union Township\, Minnesota. The third of ten children\, he grew up with an appreci­ation of family\, the satisfaction of the fruits of hard work one learns from farming\, and a love of the Lord. He married his sweetheart of 70 years\, Fern Lorraine Swartfager\, on October 13\, 1940. He served in the U.S. army in the European theatre of WWII. He and Fern established a chick hatchery in Osakis unti11952\, moving west where they settled on a small farm in Enumclaw\, Washington\, Julian secured employment at Boeing in Seattle where he remained until his retirement in 1982. Together\, he and Fern raised five sons. \nAs a youth\, he loved hunting\, fishing\, and trapping. But his greatest love has always been of the Lord. Though retired\, he never stopped working\, always having his business card ready to hand off to a stranger which stated he was an “Ambassador of Christ\,” affording him many new friendships across the globe. His stories of old family and friends back in Minnesota and his adventures as an ambassador of Christ will be greatly missed. \nHe was preceded in death by his wife\, parents\, and siblings\, Phyllis\, Catherine\, Art\, and David. \nHe is survived by sons Stan (Linda) of Mattawa\, Dale (Laura) of Ellensburg\, Forrest (Mary)\, Todd (Tina) of Enumclaw\, and Peter (Linda) of Ephrata; siblings Marilyn\, Donna\, Edward\, Dick and Vern\, and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great\, great grandchildren. \nA celebration of life is scheduled for May 5\, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Community Church\, 24015 SE 436th Way\, Enumclaw\, Washington. \nIn lieu of flowers\, please make donations to Prison Mission Association\, P.O. Box 2300\, Port Orchard\, Washington 98366.

We will be there from 12:15 pm to 3.30 pm.  In previous fairs we have had between 69- 155 inmates enroll for our Bible Correspondence courses at each prison! We are praying for a similar response here! If you have any good used softcover Bibles we can always use more as we will be visiting 5 different prisons this month!! We provide Bibles to those who do not have one and want to study God’s Word!

We will be at Rochester from 8 am to 11 am\, then at Waseca from 12:30pm- 3:30pm  In previous fairs we have had between 69- 155  inmates enroll for our Bible Correspondence courses at each prison! We are praying for a similar response here! If you have any good used softcover Bibles we can always use more as we will be visiting 5 different prisons this month!! We provide Bibles to those who do not have one and want to study God’s Word! \nWe are running out of Bible so pray for God to supply more softcover Bibles for this outreach! Thanks for your prayers and support! \nWe will be at Rochester prison in the morning 8 am-11am and Waseca in the afternoon\, 12:15-3:30pm.
