Why Do I Have To Suffer?
Why does God allow so much suffering, death and destruction in the world?
To arrive at some type of acceptable answer to this question we must consider a number of issues. First, as finite beings, we cannot comprehend the mind of God [Isaiah 55:6–11]; His plan of life on earth [Ephesians 1:11]; nor why He allows suffering [1 Peter 4:19].
This is a brief study and does not deal with all the issues involved regarding suffering. This is a Bible study, not a Medical study. There are some basic facts and truths we must seek to understand from what God says; and what we learn from experience.
