I was already a Christian before I came to prison… but I was replacing my relationship growth in Christ with work in the church and slipping away. I had an inappropriate relationship with a teenager and now have landed myself in prison. For a long time, since being here, I have begun to study and grow in God’s Word through the encouragement of a friend on the outside and Bible studies like the PMA courses. I enjoy the PMA studies and how they are able to keep my mind focused on the Scriptures and the work of Christ in my life. I especially like the PMA studies for its wholehearted approach to seeing the Bible as a connected story of redemption and not just a bunch of different parts. Thank you for the studies and their ability to be free of charge to us! I look forward to continuing to grow closer to Christ through studying His word.- D. Thorne.
