This week we will continue our series for our weekly blog, looking at the Power and Benefits of Correspondence Courses. This is part 8 of 10. Why Study by Correspondence?

#8. They are FREE for inmates. PMA is a faith based non profit 501c3 and raises the funds and has volunteers that enable us to print the lessons, mail them out, correct the returned lessons, then mail back with certificates of completion to the inmates at no cost to them. Its a joy to do this freely as unto the Lord. In Mt. 25:36- 40, Jesus explains how important it is to reach out to those less fortunate, to those in prison.  ” I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

So when we reach out to prisoners, its as if we are doing it for the Lord. We want to provide this to all at no cost so there will be no hindrance to the gospel reaching out to them.
